Apnaproduct— India's most trusted review platform
A motion-first brand identity for a culture magazine — every page, every transition, every headline moves with intent.

The Challenge
Verve wanted to be the culture magazine that felt native to a motion-first web — but most editorial brands still treat animation as decoration. They needed a system where movement was part of the voice, not a layer on top.
Our Approach
We built a kinetic identity from first principles: a set of motion tokens tied to editorial intent (reveal, emphasize, transition, rest) and a 3D masthead that responds to the reader's scroll velocity. Every animation was documented for the editorial team, so writers and designers could compose with motion the way they compose with type.

The Outcome
Verve earned an Awwwards Site of the Day in its launch week and saw a 60% lift in average read time. The motion system now scales across their newsletter, social, and a forthcoming video vertical — all composed by the in-house team.
